Step 1 is to screen your organization files, as well as constituent employer names, against GiftPlus so that we can append hep id#'s, matching gift policy data and identify as many match eligible alumni on your system as possible who were previously unknown. File 1 from your organization file: ORG name ORG id # File 2 from your constituent biographical file: Constituent ID # Constituent Employer Name (only employer names NOT identified as match eligible) Amount of last donation (blank if non-donor) Date of last donation (blank if non-donor, go back 2 fiscal years) You'll send the two files in an ASCII fixed or comma-delimited format. Please e-mail the file to info@hepdata.com. For further information regarding this process, please call us at 800-681-4438. Step 2 is for hep to return your file with appended data to each matched record. Hep will also provide you with a full copy of the most current version of GiftPlus. That, too, may be imported into your organization files. Import GiftPlus into your Phonathon Software By importing GiftPlus into your phonathon software, you're giving your callers access to crucial matching policy data during the call! On the back end, you can create custom follow-up letters to constituents who have pledged and are match eligible.
